Axis Group Yacht Design, Inc. is a naval architecture and marine engineering design company specialized in the superyacht market.Founded in USA in 1996, by naval architect & marine engineer Horacio E. Bozzo, the company has moved to Viareggio, Italy in 2001. Has established tight collaboration with the most renowned shipyards and professionals in the field, such as Azimut-Benetti, Perini Navi, Codecasa, SanLorenzo, ISA, Cantieri di Pisa, Maiora, Couach Yachts, Tecnomar, Nautica International, Paolo Caliari, Roberto del Re, Espen Oeino, among others.
Axis Group Yacht Design, Inc. has been working also in the military in tight collaboration with UFM for several projects. The most important is the Force 145, a Fast Response Cutter of 43 meter for the United States Coastguard and a 16m Fast Interceptor.
The company makes use of the latest naval architectural software, such as three-dimensional surface modellers, structural CAD/CAM software, three-dimensional piping technology, full CAD drafting, as well as state-of-the-art stability and hydrostatics packages to produce reports and fully detailed workshop booklets.
